Liberal Democrat Energy spokesperson Liam McArthur urged the Scottish Government to act on the recommendations made by the Scottish Fuel Poverty Forum.
The Forum, set up following a Liberal Democrat led debate in the Scottish Parliament, today published its recommendations to tackle fuel poverty.
Commenting, Mr McArthur said:
"Liberal Democrats led the debate for a Fuel Poverty Forum, so I welcome its report. But, this Government has a track record of setting up task forces and advisory groups and then ignoring their advice.
"Ministers cannot afford to do this with such an important issue as fuel poverty. The SNP must respond positively to these recommendations and without delay."
